This Privacy Policy explains how MULTILIGO REKLAM BILISIM PAZARLAMA VE DANISMANLIK LIMITED SIRKETI ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Dentist Cost UK, collects, uses and protects any personal data we process through dentistcost.co.uk. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

2. What personal data we collect

Dentist Cost UK is an information-only website. We do not require accounts, do not sell products, and do not run a clinic. We collect the minimum personal data needed to operate the site:

  • Email correspondence — if you contact us via info@multiligo.com or info@multiligo.com, we receive your email address, name (if provided) and the content of your message.
  • Server logs — our hosting provider automatically records anonymised access information (IP address, user agent, referrer, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. Logs are kept for up to 30 days.
  • Cookies — see our Cookie Policy for a detailed list. We only set non-essential cookies after you opt in.
  • Quote form — if you complete the quote form in our sponsored placement, we receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), the treatment you selected, anything you type in the message box, a record of your consent, and the page you submitted from. Please do not include medical details or health history in the message box — we only need to know which treatment interests you.

We use Google Analytics 4, and only after you opt in: until then the tag is not loaded, consent is recorded as denied under Google Consent Mode v2, and no analytics cookies are set. We do not use Meta Pixel, advertising networks, retargeting pixels or behavioural-tracking tools. The sponsored placement on this site is served from our own pages — it loads no third-party script, sets no cookies, and sends nothing to the advertiser unless you choose to contact them.

3. Lawful basis for processing

Under UK GDPR Article 6 we rely on the following lawful bases:

  • Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — for security logging and responding to your email enquiries.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for any optional analytics or functional cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for passing the details you enter in the quote form to our advertising partner. The form cannot be submitted without ticking that box. If you volunteer information about your dental health in the message box, that is special-category data and we rely on your explicit consent under Art. 9(2)(a), given by the same tick box.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — where we have to retain data to comply with UK law.

4. How we use your data

We use personal data only for the purposes described below:

  • To reply to your email enquiries and corrections.
  • To maintain site security, prevent abuse, and investigate technical problems.
  • (Only with consent) To understand which pages are most useful so we can improve content.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the suppliers strictly necessary to run the website:

  • Hosting provider — to deliver the website. Server logs are processed by our hosting provider on our behalf.
  • Email provider — to receive and reply to messages sent to our published email addresses.
  • Resend — an email-delivery processor that transmits quote-form submissions to us and to our advertising partner.

All suppliers are bound by data-processing agreements and are required to apply appropriate technical and organisational measures. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

There is one exception, and it applies only if you choose to use it. If you complete the quote form in our sponsored placement, the details you enter are emailed to us and to our advertising partner, a dental treatment provider based in Antalya, Turkey. From that point the advertising partner is an independent controller of your data — not our processor — and will contact you directly under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. We do this only with your explicit consent, given by ticking the box on the form; without that tick the form cannot be submitted. See our Advertising Disclosure.

6. International transfers

Our company is established in Turkey. Personal data submitted via email may be transferred outside the United Kingdom (for example, to our registered office in Istanbul) for the purposes of replying to your enquiry. Where transfers occur, we rely on the UK's Adequacy Decision (where one exists) or appropriate safeguards under UK GDPR Chapter V, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

Quote form submissions are a separate case, and you should read this before using the form. Turkey is not covered by a UK adequacy decision. When you submit the quote form, the details you entered are transferred to our advertising partner in Antalya, Turkey on the basis of your explicit consent under UK GDPR Art. 49(1)(a). This means the transfer is made without an adequacy decision and without the appropriate safeguards described above, and we are required to tell you that it therefore carries risks: the partner is outside UK jurisdiction, and UK enforcement and redress routes may not be available to you against them. The transfer is limited to the details you typed into the form. If you would rather not make that transfer, do not use the form — you can still research prices freely on this site.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Email correspondence: up to 24 months after the last contact, unless ongoing dialogue requires longer retention.
  • Quote form submissions: 24 months from submission, then deleted. We hold no database of enquiries — a submission exists only as an email in our inbox. Our advertising partner sets its own retention period, which we do not control.
  • Server logs: up to 30 days, then automatically purged.
  • Cookie preferences: stored in your browser's local storage for 12 months from your last decision, after which we ask again.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how we use your data (this page).
  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Have your data erased (the "right to be forgotten"), subject to legal exceptions.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability for data you have provided to us.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@multiligo.com. We will respond within one calendar month as required by UK GDPR.

One honest limit on those rights: if you have submitted the quote form, withdrawing consent stops any further processing by us, but it cannot recall an email that has already been sent to our advertising partner. To have your data erased by the partner you will need to contact them directly — or contact us and we will pass the request on, though we cannot compel them to act on it.

9. Right to complain

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):

10. Children

Dentist Cost UK is aimed at adults seeking information about UK dental treatment costs. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Security

We use HTTPS encryption across the entire site, restrict administrative access, and apply industry-standard hosting security. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply appropriate technical and organisational measures as required by UK GDPR Article 32.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page and accompanied by a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
