Advertising Disclosure

Dentist Cost UK carries paid advertising. This page explains exactly what that means, so you can judge for yourself how much weight to give anything you read here.

1. What is paid for

We currently carry one advertiser. A sponsored placement for dental treatment in Antalya, Turkey appears at the foot of most pages, labelled "Sponsored", and links to a dedicated advertisement page carrying a quote form and a WhatsApp contact button. The advertiser pays for that placement. Advertising revenue funds the site.

2. What is not for sale

The prices we publish are not for sale, and neither is our editorial judgement. Specifically:

• No advertiser sees a price before we publish it, and none can change, set or influence one afterwards.
• No clinic, dentist, insurer or finance provider can pay to be named, rated, ranked or recommended anywhere in our editorial content.
• We take no affiliate commission and no referral fee on any treatment, insurance policy or finance agreement arranged through this site.
• Our guidance on treatment abroad — including the aftercare, guarantee and regulation risks we set out — has not been softened, rewritten or shown to the advertiser for approval, and it will not be.

3. An advertisement is not a recommendation

We are not a dental practice. We do not inspect clinics, verify clinical credentials, audit qualifications or check the regulatory standing of any advertiser. A placement on this site means the advertiser paid for it — nothing more. Please carry out your own checks before agreeing to treatment, in the UK or abroad.

Treatment carried out outside the United Kingdom is not regulated by the General Dental Council, and the complaint and redress routes available to you in the UK may not apply. Our advertisement page sets out the questions worth asking any overseas clinic before you pay a deposit.

4. How the advertising is kept separate

• It is labelled "Sponsored" where you can see it, not in small print underneath.
• It sits below the editorial content of a page, never inside it, and never as part of a price table or cost guide.
• It is not shown on our legal pages, so the policies describing the advertising are not themselves carrying it.
• It loads no third-party script and sets no cookies. Nothing about your visit reaches the advertiser unless you choose to contact them.

5. If you contact the advertiser

Using the quote form or the WhatsApp button puts you in touch with the advertiser directly. We are not a party to anything you agree with them. If you submit the quote form, the details you enter are sent to the advertiser, who becomes an independent controller of that data — see our Privacy Policy for what that means for your rights, including the transfer of your details to Turkey.

If you think an advertisement on this site is misleading, poorly labelled or wrongly placed, please tell us — we would rather hear it from you than not. Our contact details are on the contact page. You can also report an advertisement to the Advertising Standards Authority at asa.org.uk.
